Fruit Still Life-Porcelain painting- 2nd firing
8" x 10" porcelain tile
This is a work in progress. This tile has been fired twice in the kiln and is ready for its 3rd application of paint. I have worked slowly layering the paint so that many different colors will come through each layer, since this type of paint, like watercolors, is transparent. In the shadows of the apple and the pear are many colors that are being reflected from the elements around them.
